Returns policy effective on 1/22/2024.
The policy below sets out the conditions under which CV Optics USA will accept returns from customers and process credits in relation to such. The terms of this policy must be followed and completely adhered to for any return and credit to be considered. Any deviation to such will result in a return and credit being declined by CV Optics USA.
- If at any time a customer feels they have product(s) they wish to return for consideration of credit, the first stage is to complete the CV Optics USA Returns Approval Form (RAF). This needs to be completed in full providing, by line, the product, sku, quantity and reason for the returns being requested.
- At this time, no product should be sent back to CV Optics USA. Any product(s) returned and sent back to CV Optics USA without being pre-approved will not be credited and the cost to send such back to the customer will be charged to the customer.
- Once complete, the RAF should be emailed to the customer’s CV Optics USA representative who will confirm acceptance of such. The request for a return and credit has now been received and will be considered. The customer will get an email reply within 3 working days.
- When the CV Optics representative responds they will indicate the products accepted for return and provide commentary on any lines and products not accepted for return and credit. They may also call the customer to discuss such.
- At all times, if product is being returned for defective or quality reasons, even though the CV Optics USA representative may approve a return, CV Optics USA always reserves the right to reverse this decision if, on receipt and inspection, the defect is not deemed appropriate or is down to misuse. The customer will be notified immediately of any such decisions.
- Now the RAF has been returned, a customer can send in any products that have been approved for return. Only products that have been approved should be returned and any products not approved should not be returned. Any product received by CV Optics USA that has not been approved in the RAF will not be credited and the cost to send such back to customer will be charged to the customer.
- All and any overstock products being returned should be received back at CV Optics USA in its original packaging and in a resaleable condition. Any products that do not comply with this will be deducted from the returns claim, and any credit to be processed, and the customer will be notified. Products not complying can either be returned to the customer, with shipping charged accordingly, or discarded by CV Optics USA and the customer will be given this choice upon notification any such circumstances. Defective product being returned needs the original packaging, but it does not need to be in resalable condition.
- Any product being returned for defective or quality based reasons must be untouched as in not worked by the customer. Any lenses, be it Semi-Finished or Finished Singe Vision stock, that have been processed and worked by the customer will not be accepted for credit.
- Any and all products being returned to CV Optics USA must be arranged and sorted in the boxes in product groups.
- Any and all products approved for return where there is not product or physical defect will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Returns to be sent back to CV Optics USA at the cost of the customer. Once received, the customer will be provided notification of the returns delivery and the return will be processed within 5 working days for a credit.
